Imprints 2018

Exhibited at Rosevears Gallery, Rosevears, Tasmania

Rosevears Gallery in the Tamar Valley acted as an intermediary space between
the surrounding vineyards and the wine bar during the opening weekend of Artentwine
in 2018.

I recorded imprints of grapes onto paper creating an in situ artwork.
Peeled and pipped grapes, replicating a stage in wine making, were used instead in a
process of printing.
The flesh of the grapes left their imprint on paper and these traces were linked by lines
creating an imaginary map of the Tamar Estuary and Valley.
